Hospital Schools Come Together for Important Staff Event
An important milestone was marked for City of Dublin ETB in August as staff from the four hospital schools, Children's Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, CHI at Temple Street, CHI at Tallaght, and Beaumont Hospital School, came together for the first time.
The event provided an opportunity for staff to learn more about the journey towards becoming a single, unified National Children's Hospital (NCH) School.

Attendees were also introduced to the Education and Training Board (ETB) sector and had the opportunity to meet their new leadership team.

Earlier this year, City of Dublin ETB was selected by the Department of Education and Youth to assume patronage of the new National Children's Hospital School. The school will be established through the amalgamation of the four existing hospital schools, creating a unified service that will support the educational needs of children and young people receiving hospital care.
