City of Dublin ETB Strategy Statement Consultation Is In Development

City of Dublin ETB have commenced the development of a new Strategy Statement. This important document will help guide our work over the years 2026-2030, setting out our values, vision, mission and key priorities as an organisation.

The Education and Training Act 2013 sets out that every five years each ETB is required to develop a Strategy Statement. The Strategy Statement must be developed through consultation and engagement.

Earlier this year, a City of Dublin ETB strategy statement development group was established, comprising representatives from across the organisation. The development group are responsible for the delivery of the Strategy Statement.

A series of consultation activities are now under way to gather input from key stakeholders and help shape the direction of the strategy. Focus groups have been facilitated with a number of different stakeholder groups. The findings from these focus groups have helped the development group to create stakeholder consultation surveys which are now live.

Over the course of the rest of the year the Strategy Statement Development Group will produce the final strategy statement which, once approved, will go live from January 2026.
